Job Details

The Senior Director of Partnerships will be responsible for growing our partnership sales division through sales, education, market/business development, and expanding partner and merchant adoption of Cardinal products and services, and increasing the share of transacting merchants.

What You'll Do:

Develop and maintain the largest tier 1 channel partner relationships for resellers and referrers of Cardinal's core business products and services to optimize short-term and long-term transaction volumes and revenues.

Present and sell the Cardinal suite of products and services to VP through C-level contacts, both tactically and strategically using a consultative approach.

Focus on strategic business development and growth through global and regional pipeline review with partners.

Determine the technical capabilities of the partner and Cardinal integration to ensure compatibility.

Identify and develop new opportunities within existing partner relationships using phone calls, emails, social media, on-site client meetings, and networking.

Train the channel partner sales teams, increase awareness of the Cardinal solutions in the market and create sales opportunities for our channel partners.

Create go-to-market strategies, marketing plans, sales and marketing collateral for Cardinal partners.

Report on partners' pipeline, opportunities, and ongoing services of Cardinal's solutions.

Maintain comprehensive contact history and communication through Salesforce and other reporting tools.

Mentor and grow team members.

Assist in hiring and training new team members.

Attend trade shows, client meetings, and other industry events.

Conduct executive-level quarterly business review with partners.

Update merchant services on partner strategies, technologies, opportunities, and challenges in the industry.

Coordinate with enterprise, inside sales, and financial institution sales reps on sales and cross-sell opportunities.

What We Need You to Have:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or equivalent with four or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, will be considered.

10+ years of experience in sales, channel development, or account management.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects and functions under tight deadlines.

Advanced experience with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word, and CRM.

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with strong writing and editing skills.

What We'd Like You to Have:

Experience training external clients on the product you sell.

Experience managing your own book of business.

Experience and knowledge of selling software as a service.

Experience within the e-commerce or payments industry.

Experience with frequent travel and/or managing accounts internationally.

Experience with advanced reporting tools.

Previous experience managing a team.

Travel Requirements:

Up to 50% of the time, domestic and international, when it is safe to do so.
